Q:

Which crystals can be charged in moonlight?

Hi everyone,

I am new to the world of crystals and I have been learning about their healing properties. I have read that it's important to charge crystals so that they maintain their energy and continue to work their magic. I have heard that one way to charge them is by leaving them in moonlight.

I am curious to know which crystals can be charged in moonlight. Are there any specific types of crystals that I can't charge this way? Also, is there a certain phase of the moon that is best for charging crystals?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi everyone,

I am new to the world of crystals and recently learned about charging them through moonlight. While I haven't experimented with it yet, I have a specific query about moon cycles and crystal charging.

Is it necessary to charge all crystals during the full moon phase? Or can I charge them during the waxing and waning cycles as well? Also, does the duration of exposure to moonlight matter? Can I simply place them under moonlight for a few hours or should it be left overnight?

I'm excited to start my crystal journey and I want to make sure I'm reaping the benefits of charging them effectively. Thank you in advance for your answers and guidance!

Hello everyone,

As a long-time crystal lover, I’ve found that charging my crystals under the moonlight is one of my preferred methods to keep them energized. To answer the question at hand, I find that almost all crystals can be charged under the moon, but it's imperative to research the ones that cannot be, such as selenite.

In terms of the moon phase, I believe that charging crystals during any lunar phase is effective. I've practiced this method during crescent, quarter, full, and new moon phases with successful results. However, I've found that the new moon and full moon are the most potent times to charge your crystals. The new moon ignites the energy of the crystals, allowing you to set intentions and manifest dreams, while the full moon helps to cleanse and release negative energy from the crystals.

Lastly, I want to note that while charging your crystals under the moonlight is great, it's always good to give them a break after exposure. Give them at least a couple of hours to rest and integrate the energy that they’ve received.

I hope this perspective is helpful in your crystal journey. Best of luck and enjoy!

Greetings everyone,

I have been using crystals for several months and I have found that moonlight is a great way to charge most crystals. However, I agree with user 1 and 2 that it's important to be cautious with certain crystals like selenite. I have charged crystals like amethyst, clear quartz, and agate successfully under the full moon.

When it comes to charging crystals, I don't think there is a one-size-fits-all approach. In my experience, each crystal has its own unique energy frequency and charge time. I also believe that the intention and focus you put into charging the crystal can make a huge difference in its energy level.

Regarding the moon phases, I prefer to charge my crystals during the full or new moon. The energy during these phases is incredibly powerful, and I think it helps in infusing the crystals with more healing energy. However, I have also charged some of my crystals during the waxing and waning phases of the moon, and they still hold positive energy.

In conclusion, there are a lot of different ways to charge crystals and I believe it's essential to experiment with different methods and find what works best for you and your crystals. Happy charging!

Hello all,

I have been a crystal enthusiast for a few years now and have experimented with various ways of charging them. Like others have mentioned, I find that most crystals can be charged by exposing them to moonlight, with some exceptions like selenite.

In my opinion, it's important to take the time to cleanse your crystals before charging them. This can be done by holding them in running water or using smudging techniques like burning sage or palo santo. I find that this helps to remove any negative energy that has been absorbed by the crystals, making them more receptive to the moon's energy.

As for the best phase of the moon to charge your crystals, I think it varies depending on the intention you have for the crystals. For instance, if you are looking to attract abundance and prosperity, then the full moon is the best time to charge your crystals. On the other hand, if you are looking to release negative emotions or patterns, the waning moon is ideal.

One last tip I have is to be mindful of the weather when charging your crystals in moonlight. If it's a cloudy or rainy night, then the energy of the moon may be diluted, and your crystals may not receive as much energy as you'd like.

Overall, I encourage everyone to experiment with different charging methods and find what works best for them. Happy crystal healing!

Hello there,

I have been fascinated with crystals for many years and have charged them in many different ways. I definitely agree that moonlight is a great way to charge crystals. I have charged a variety of crystals in moonlight, including black tourmaline, rose quartz, and citrine, with great success. However, as user 1 said, selenite is an exception and should not be charged in moonlight or salt water as it can lose its luster and even begin to dissolve.

Regarding the phase of the moon, I have found that the full moon works best for me. I feel that it amplifies the energy of my crystals, making them more effective in their healing properties. But like user 1 said, it is important to experiment and find what works best for you and your crystals.

In addition to moonlight, I have also charged my crystals in sunlight, on a selenite charging plate, and by simply holding them in my hand and visualizing positive energy flowing into them. I believe that it's all about intention and finding the method that resonates with you the most.

Good luck on your crystal journey!

Hey there,

As a crystal lover, I have tried out numerous methods to charge my crystals, and I also find charging them in moonlight is one of the most effective ones. According to my knowledge, most crystals can be charged under moonlight. However, just like user 3 mentioned, I would suggest cleansing them before charging via running water, sound, or any other method you prefer.

I usually charge my crystals during the full moon, as it's the time when the energy is abundant, and as a result, the crystals receive a powerful charge. Additionally, it's important to pay attention to the specific intent you have for your crystals. For instance, charging your crystals during a new moon, also known as the dark moon, is an excellent method to set new intentions and goals.

Lastly, it's essential to mention that the moon's phase and exposure time might differ the energy intensity of your crystals. Therefore, it's ideal to experiment with various moon phases and exposure times to determine what works best for you and your crystals.

In summary, moonlight charging is an effective method for most crystals, and it's essential to cleanse them before using this method. Experiment with different moon phases and exposure times, and your crystals will thank you for it. Good luck!

Hi there,

I have been working with crystals for some time and have found that most crystals can be charged in moonlight. However, there are a few exceptions such as selenite, which can actually dissolve if left in water, including moonlit rain.

In terms of the phase of the moon, I find that the full moon is the most powerful time to charge crystals. This is when the moon's energy is at its peak and can infuse the crystals with an abundance of positive energy. However, I have also charged crystals during other phases of the moon and have still felt their energy increase.

Overall, I think it's important to experiment with different methods of charging crystals and find what works best for you and your specific crystals. Good luck and happy crystal journey!

Hello everyone,

In my crystal journey, I've learned that charging my crystals under the moonlight is an enjoyable and powerful way to infuse them with positive energy. I have charged many crystals under the moonlight, and I find that it's an effective way to recharge and refresh their vital energy.

Most of the crystals can be charged by moonlight, but as others have mentioned, some crystals like selenite should not be charged under the moonlight. Also, I found that some crystals tend to become vibrant under moonlight than others, and it is quite fascinating to witness.

When it comes to the moon phase, I agree with the others that each phase of the moon has distinct energy properties, which can impact the crystals differently. In my experience, charging crystals during the full moon is potent and helps in accessing its abundant and radiant energy. The new moon also has a great charm, which works well while setting new intentions.

However, I prefer to give my crystals a break between their charging cycles, allowing them to rest and reabsorb their energy. Once charged, I like to place them in a beautiful spot, and they radiate the pleasant energy into my surroundings.

Finally, I want to say that I'm excited to see other's results regarding crystal charging. There are so many unique and extraordinary experiences and stories to be uncovered in the world of crystals.

Happy crystal journey to everyone!
