I have been struggling with anxiety for the past few months and I would like to explore Ayurvedic remedies to help manage it. However, I am not sure which specific Ayurveda practices or treatments are best suited for anxiety. I have tried some basic yoga and meditation practices but I am looking for something more targeted to my condition.

As someone who has been dealing with anxiety for quite some time, Ayurveda has been an effective way to manage it. One Ayurvedic practice that I found to be particularly calming was the use of aromatherapy. Some of the essential oils that I have found to be helpful in reducing anxiety include Lavender, Rose, and Ylang-Ylang. Inhaling these essential oils, either through a diffuser or a hot compress, can help to promote relaxation and reduce stress levels.
Another Ayurvedic remedy that is great in managing anxiety is Triphala. Triphala is an Ayurvedic herb that helps to balance Vata, the dosha related to anxiety and nervousness in Ayurveda. Consuming Triphala as a dietary supplement, incorporating it into your meals, or drinking it as tea can help to reduce feelings of nervousness and anxiety.
Lastly, I have found that a consistent routine of Ayurvedic self-care, which includes proper sleep hygiene, mindful eating, and a consistent exercise or yoga practice, has been incredibly helpful in reducing my anxiety levels.
