Q:

What color helps panic attacks?

Hi everyone! I suffer from panic attacks and I've been trying different ways to cope with them. I've read that certain colors can have a calming effect on the mind and body. I was wondering if anyone knows which color is best to help with panic attacks? Any personal experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone! I have personally found that incorporating earthy and warm colors such as green, yellow or brown can help me in moments of panic. When I'm struggling with anxiety, I try to surround myself with natural elements that feel grounded, and these colors help me achieve that sense of peace. For example, I have a houseplant in my room, which has a variety of different shades of green, and I find it really soothing to look at. Of course, this is just my experience and I understand that it may not work for others, but if you're looking for something new to try, maybe give these warm, earthy colors a shot!

Hello all! As someone who has also struggled with panic attacks, I have found that light shades of purple have helped me the most. I think this is because purple has a calming effect and is associated with a sense of serenity. I have incorporated this color in various ways such as by wearing purple clothes, having a purple bedspread, and even by using a purple night light. It seems to have a relaxing effect on my mind and helps me sleep better at night. Of course, it's worth mentioning that everyone is different and what works for me might not work for someone else. But if you're looking for a new way to help manage your anxiety, give the color purple a try!

Hi everyone! I have dealt with panic attacks for years and have found that warm shades of pink really help me to feel calm and relaxed. Pink is associated with love, comfort and nurturing, which can be especially beneficial during panic attacks. I often wear shades of pink or decorate my home with pink accents to create a cozy and nurturing environment when I'm feeling anxious. It's important to remember that everyone's experience with anxiety and panic attacks is different, so what works for one person may not work for another. But for those who have yet to find a color that helps them, it's worth giving pink a try!

Hi there! I also suffer from panic attacks and have found that surrounding myself with the color blue has helped me in the past. Blue is often associated with calmness and tranquility, which can be a great help with anxiety and panic attacks. I wear blue clothing, have blue decor in my bedroom, and I even have a blue light in my room that I use when I'm feeling anxious. Of course, everyone is different and what works for one person may not work for another, but I hope this helps!
