Q:

I'm looking for crystals that can help with anticipatory anxiety before events or situations. Any recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I've been experiencing a lot of anticipatory anxiety lately, and I'm looking for some crystals that can help calm my nerves before events or situations. I'm currently in a job that requires a lot of public speaking, and I find myself getting incredibly nervous leading up to speaking engagements.

I've heard that crystals can help with anxiety, and I'd love to hear any recommendations you may have. I'm completely new to the world of crystals, so any guidance on how to use them would also be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello everyone,

I struggle with anticipatory anxiety as well, and I find that using crystals can be really helpful in managing these feelings. One crystal that has been particularly helpful for me is black onyx. It's supposed to be a grounding stone that can help anchor you to the present moment and calm anxious thoughts. I like to wear a black onyx bracelet on days when I know I'll be dealing with a lot of stress or anxiety.

Another crystal that has been helpful is howlite. It's supposed to have a calming energy that can help relieve anxiety and promote a sense of serenity. I like to carry a piece of howlite in my pocket and hold it in my hand when I'm feeling particularly anxious.

When it comes to using crystals, there are so many different ways to incorporate them into your routine. Some people like to meditate with them, while others prefer to place them on certain parts of their body. I personally like to carry them with me or wear them as jewelry, so that I can have them close at hand whenever I need them.

Ultimately, finding the right crystals and the right way to use them is a matter of trial and error. But if you're struggling with anticipatory anxiety, I definitely recommend giving crystals a try. They might not solve all your problems, but they can be a positive addition to your self-care routine.

Hi there,

I totally know how you feel. I used to have terrible anticipatory anxiety before social events, and it was really starting to impact my life in a negative way. My therapist actually recommended that I try using crystals as a form of calming energy.

One crystal that I found really helpful for my anxiety was amethyst. It's supposed to have a calming effect and help bring clarity to your mind. I would hold it in my hand or wear it as a necklace before events, and I found that it really helped me feel more centered and relaxed.

Another crystal that I've heard is good for anxiety is rose quartz. It's supposed to bring a feeling of love and compassion, which can help ease anxiety and promote self-love. I haven't personally used it for anxiety, but I keep a piece of rose quartz in my office and find that it helps create a positive, calming energy.

As for how to use them, I usually just hold them in my hand or wear them as jewelry. Some people also like to meditate with them or place them on different parts of their body. It really just depends on what works best for you.

I hope this helps! Good luck finding the right crystal for you.

Hey there,

I can really relate to the struggles with anticipatory anxiety. It can be really debilitating at times. I've found that using crystals can be really helpful for calming my nerves before events or situations.

One crystal that has been particularly helpful for me is citrine. It's supposed to be a stone of abundance and joy, and I find that it's really helpful for boosting my mood and confidence. I like to carry a piece of citrine in my pocket or wear it as a piece of jewelry to help me feel more positive and optimistic.

Another crystal that I've found helpful is blue calcite. It's supposed to have a calming energy that can help soothe anxiety and promote relaxation. I like to place a piece of blue calcite on my chest or throat chakra when I'm feeling particularly anxious, and I find that it really helps me feel more at ease.

When it comes to using crystals, I think the key is to be open to the experience and trust your intuition. You might not always know which crystal to use or how to use it, but you'll find your way. And even if you're not sure about the science behind crystal healing, I think you can still benefit from the positive energy that they can bring into your life.

Remember, it's okay to feel anxious sometimes. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just take care of yourself, and know that there are tools out there that can help.

Greetings!

Like the original poster, I also struggle with anxious thoughts and feelings before events or situations. I've found a few different crystals that have been helpful for me, and I'd love to share them with you all.

One crystal that I've found particularly helpful is labradorite. It's supposed to have a calming energy and help protect against negative energy as well. I like to hold it in my hand before events, and I find that it helps me stay calm and centered.

Another crystal that has helped me recently is amazonite. It's supposed to help calm the mind and soothe anxious feelings. I like to wear an amazonite bracelet throughout the day, and I find that it helps me feel more at ease.

When it comes to using crystals, it's really a matter of personal preference. Some people like to meditate with them, while others prefer to carry them with them throughout the day. I personally like to hold them in my hand and take a few deep breaths when I'm feeling anxious.

Overall, I've found that crystals can be a helpful tool for managing anticipatory anxiety. However, it's important to remember that they're not a substitute for professional help if you find that your anxiety is interfering with your daily life.

I hope this helps, and best of luck on your crystal journey!

Hello everyone,

As someone who also experiences anticipatory anxiety, I've found that amethyst is a great crystal for calming my nerves. It's supposed to have a soothing energy that can help relieve anxiety and stress. I personally like to wear an amethyst necklace or bracelet to help me stay calm throughout the day.

Another crystal that has helped me in the past is citrine. It's supposed to help boost self-confidence and optimism, which can be really helpful when dealing with anxious feelings. I like to carry a piece of citrine in my pocket or purse, and I find that it helps me feel more positive and self-assured.

When I'm feeling particularly anxious, I also like to practice a simple crystal meditation. I'll hold a crystal (usually amethyst or clear quartz) in my hand and close my eyes. I focus on my breath and try to visualize the crystal's energy flowing through me, calming my mind and body. Even just a few minutes of this meditation can be really helpful for alleviating my anxiety.

Of course, everyone's experience with crystals is going to be different, so it's important to experiment and find what works best for you. But if you're struggling with anticipatory anxiety like I am, I definitely recommend giving crystals a try.

Another crystal that has been helpful for me is hematite. It's supposed to have a grounding energy that can help you feel more connected to the earth and less overwhelmed by anxious feelings. I like to wear a hematite bracelet or earrings on days when I know I'll be dealing with a lot of stress or anxiety.

When it comes to using crystals, I think the most important thing is to trust your intuition. Choose the crystals that resonate with you the most and experiment with different ways of incorporating them into your routine. Personally, I like to hold my crystals in my hand and focus on my breath, but I know that other people prefer to place them on their body or meditate with them.

Overall, I've found that crystals can be a helpful tool for managing anticipatory anxiety. They might not be a panacea, but they can definitely be a useful addition to your self-care toolkit.
