Q:

Can I shower with lepidolite?

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a beautiful lepidolite crystal and I've been carrying it with me everywhere I go. I love the calming and soothing energy it gives off, and it has helped me manage my anxiety and stress levels. However, I'm not sure if it's safe to take it in the shower with me. I know some crystals are sensitive to water and can be damaged, and I don't want to risk ruining my lepidolite.

Has anyone showered with lepidolite before? Did it get damaged or lose its energy? Would it be safe for me to bring it with me in the shower? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi, I've had some experience showering with lepidolite before and it hasn't caused any damage to my crystal or its energy. However, I always make sure to hold onto it tightly and keep it out of direct contact with the water. Usually, I place it in a small container on the side of the shower so that it can still be nearby but not at risk of getting wet.

That said, every crystal is different and some may be more sensitive to water than others. If you're hesitant or unsure about showering with your lepidolite, it might be best to leave it out of the shower and cleanse it with salt or moonlight instead. Hope this helps!

Hello,

I would not recommend showering with lepidolite as it can be porous, and water can seep into the tiny openings, which can over time cause damage to your crystal. However, I have used a crystal-infused bath bomb made using lepidolite, which worked out great. The lepidolite's energy combined with the bath bomb's properties created a peaceful and calming experience.

Personally, I prefer other cleansing methods, such as using Palo Santo or sage or putting my crystal under the full moon to cleanse it. These methods have always worked well for me, and I believe it is safer than showering with a crystal.

So, if you're hesitant about showering with lepidolite crystal, look into other safe alternatives to cleanse and charge your stones.

Hi there,

I personally do not recommend showering with lepidolite. Even though it's relatively less sensitive to water than other stones, it's still better to be safe than sorry. I've had instances where I thought it would be safe to shower with a crystal, but after a few showers, cracks started to appear on the surface, and it eventually split.

If you really feel the need to cleanse your crystal in water, instead of showering with it, consider cleansing it under running water or waiting until your next swim in the ocean, lake, or river.

Remember, every crystal is unique, and while some may respond differently to water exposure than others, it's important not to take any chances that might lead to damages to the crystal.

Hello everyone,

I believe that each crystal is unique, and it's essential to understand its properties before trying out new things. Although lepidolite is relatively water-resistant, I would advise against showering with it to be safe.

I haven't had any bad experiences showering with lepidolite, but I understand that it's better not to take any chances. So when it comes to cleansing my lepidolite, I prefer using alternative methods like burying it in the earth or salt soaks. In this way, I know that I'm not taking any chances that will damage my lepidolite crystals.

In conclusion, the choice to shower with a crystal is a personal one, but it is essential to understand every crystal's properties and what is best for them.

Hello,

I had lepidolite crystal with me which significantly helped me with my stress levels and anxiety. I never showered with it as water can have negative effects on some crystals. When I was cleansing my lepidolite. I made the mistake of leaving it in salt water for too long which caused damage to the crystal, and its energy changed.

In conclusion, it's essential to be careful when dealing with crystals as they might respond differently. While some crystals can be safe to shower with, others might not. You may want to leave your lepidolite outside of the shower and cleanse it using an alternative method that would ensure that it cleansed without losing its power.

Hello,

I personally don't recommend showering with lepidolite. While it's true that some crystals are resistant to water, it's always better to be safe than sorry. I have had an experience where I accidentally dropped my lepidolite in the shower, and it caused tiny scratches that eventually became noticeable damage.

I prefer other cleansing methods like smoke cleansing using sage or palo santo or burying my crystals in the Earth. However, if you feel the need to cleanse your lepidolite with water, I'd recommend placing it in a small container on the side of the shower, so it doesn't get into direct contact with the water.

It's important to treat each crystal with care, and if you are unsure whether or not it can handle water, it's better to err on the side of caution.

Hello everyone,

I have been using lepidolite for a while now, and I personally prefer not to shower with it. Though it's a sturdy stone, and it can handle brief contact with water, it's always better to be cautious. I once showered with a lepidolite crystal, and my entire house was filled with a terrible smell. It turns out that water entered the tiny pores of the stone, which caused it to smell terrible.

Instead, I've opted to clean it using the sun and moon's natural cleansing process. You can leave your lepidolite on bright sunlight for a few hours or leave it under the moonlight during a full moon to cleanse it.

Realistically, there's no right or wrong way when it comes to cleansing crystals, but it's essential to be consistent and make use of a process that doesn't damage your crystal.

Hi everyone,

I would advise against showering with lepidolite crystals. Although it is a relatively hard mineral, it can be porous, and If any water gets into the tiny cracks or crevices, it can cause the stone to crack or break.

I have tried showering with my lepidolite, which, unfortunately, was damaged after continuous exposure to water. I learned my lesson and now avoid exposing my crystal intentionally to any contact with water.

I prefer to incorporate other cleansing techniques like using sage, Reiki, and moonlight or sunlight to cleanse my crystals. So, avoid showering with your lepidolite to prevent any damage, and stick with tried and tested cleansing methods.
