Can amethyst make you sleepy?

I recently started wearing an amethyst necklace that I purchased from a local store. I have been hearing a lot about the healing properties of amethyst and thought I would give it a try. However, since wearing the necklace, I have been feeling very sleepy throughout the day. I am not sure if this is related to the amethyst or if it is just a coincidence.

Has anyone else experienced this while wearing amethyst? Can amethyst crystals actually make you feel sleepy or is it just the power of suggestion? I would really appreciate any insight or personal experiences that you could share. Thank you!
